Capterra was a business that barely existed for three years. They kept going. By 2007 they hit the Inc. 5000. In 2015, Gartner acquired them. Earlier this year, G2 folded Capterra into the largest B2B software review platform on Earth.

The entire industry traces back to a list nobody cared about.
